Happy New Year!

Hey guys,

Happy New Year! I can't believe it's 2015 and that the holidays are already over. They went by so fast and everyone survived (unscathed I hope).

I've been laying pretty low. Spent X-mas watching one of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen. It's called "The Best of Youth" and is an Italian film. It's also 6 hours long! I know that's absolutely insane but it doesn't feel that long and the story is so good and so beautiful that you're not thinking about how long it is.

I got through 4 hours in one sitting. I figured it's better than all the crap I usually watch for 4 hours.

So, if you're in need of a good film or have time on your hands, I can't recommend it enough. You can watch it on Netflix.

Other than that, just doing the usual around this time of year.  Taking stock on the last year. Making new resolutions. Even though I'm not quite sure I believe in them.

I attended a goal-setting seminar this past Saturday which was interesting to say the least. But I got a really great planner out of it which made it all worth it. I hope I continue using it as voraciously as I am now.

I am really excited about a song I am going to release in late February/early March. I am doing the finishing touches and even going to make my first music video! Exciting stuff. The song is called "Fighter" and I can't wait for you to hear it.

In the meantime, I am always writing.

Have you seen the show "Peaky Blinders"? Also on Netflix...it is an understatement when I say I am OBSESSED with that show. There are 2 seasons and they are making a 3rd. Hallelujah! (Apparently, when I lay low I watch a lot of things on Netflix.)

Well I wrote a song inspired by that show. There is a scene in Season 1 Episode 5  where Tommy and Grace are at Grace's apt. And I was so moved that I wrote a song called "I Found You". If you've seen it, let me know what you think! and if you haven't, get on it and then tell me what you think!:) Or just tell me what you think anyway.

I will post it below so you can see/hear the song.

I wish everyone a happy and healthy 2015. One of my main goals is to have more fun so I'll be sharing some of my fun-ness with you. Stay tuned for the new song "Fighter". I think you're going to love it.

All my music and love,
D
